01
Best Buy Back-to-School Campaign

A cumulative collection of assignments from JOUR 4263: Strategic Communications Campaigns, my team and I presented an abridged version of this deck to a marketing representative from Best Buy by way of final assignment for the class. In collaboration with Natalie Williams, Cheyney McKinney, Gracie Kibort, and Jenny Ryan, I acted as the account manager and led conversations surrounding the central strategy for our campaign. This slide deck describes our philosophy as an agency and gives a detailed overview of a complete integrated marketing campaign including brand personas, media channels, and a full budget.
02
JT Mega Final Intern Project
This project was created as part of my internship at JT Mega Food Advertising in accordance with art director interns Katie Benedict and Anna Zollar. I served as account manager, communicating with the client about our proposed creative brief and getting it in a spot everyone could agree on. I also worked with the media and strategy teams to develop a target audience, provide a planning overview, and give a high-level outline of media tactics for CTV/video advertising. I also served as a hand model in some of the visual creative materials.

03
Insights through interviews

Created for JOUR 3253: Account Planning, in this assignment we were given Caribou Coffee as a client, and were made to uncover insights about the brand through interviews with members of a predetermined target audience. I interviewed three people with the same interview questions outlined in the presentation, gave a brief summary of each person, and noted common threads uncovered through these interviews. From these themes, I drew three key insights about Caribou and provide brief recommendations for the Caribou Coffee brand.
04
Bubblegum, a *pop*culture zine
Created as a final project in an asynchronous online class (GWSS 3306: Pop Culture Women) with Chloe Strege, Bubblegum is a zine focused on highlighting issues faced by marginalized groups, specifically women, in the pop culture zeitgeist. I wrote the introduction, as well as the pieces entitled “The Lizzofication of the Body Positivity Movement” and “What Makes a Movie Star?” The cover page, as well as pages with my articles on them, were also designed by me. The research process involved using class readings as well as compiling other primary and secondary sources from magazines, pop culture websites, and scholarly articles.

05
Day in the life - Mounatin Dew

Created for JOUR 3253: Account Planning, this assignment outlines research done using MRI-Simmons about Mountain Dew’s ideal target audience including age, gender, and some general psychographics. It provides two detailed brand personas and a map of what a day in their life might look like, highlighting moments they might interact with branded content from Mountain Dew. It finishes with a rationale of why I made these personas the way they are, and the amount of brand touchpoints they have.
06
Strategy Recommendation Bed Bath & Beyond

Created as a final group project for JOUR 3253: Account Planning. This document outlines general struggles of the Bed, Bath, and Beyond brand and gives recommendations on how to improve their advertising and gives their brand a general revamp. My personal contributions included the second brand persona, Erica J, and general target audience research.
